Jack started riding shortly after high school. His first bike was a used Honda 750. After landing his first real, career type job, he sold the 750 and picked up a Honda Magna from a younger brother. That lasted until he purchased his first Harley, a Softail Custom as a gift to himself after a hard earned promotion. The Softail now has over 110,000 miles on it. To make his significant other, and future wife, happy he picked up a Road King in order to provide a bit more comfort.
.
Jack's favorite activity is riding, with friends or not, discovering new roads or revisiting old favorites. If he is riding, he is smiling. Over the years he has the opportunity to ride in forty-four states, six countries, three continents, and twenty-four national parks. The sun, rain, snow, heat, and cold were an integral part of it all. Jack resides in Denver with his wife.

Steve, at age 13, learned to ride on a friend's 60cc Honda. From his first ride, he knew motorcycles were for him. When Steve turned 18, he bought his first bike which was a Triumph 650. After graduating from college, he upgraded and bought his first new motorcycle, a 1977 Harley Sporster 1000cc. Steve kept that bike for 27 years. In the late nineties, Steve bought his first touring bike, a 1995 Road King, which he still has today in Boston. To be able to ride twelve months a year, Steve keeps a 2006 Harley Ultra Classic in Southern Florida.

Jack and Steve, both pharmacists and avid bikers, first met at a pharmacy convention in New Orleans. After a few rides together they began organizing tours on a regular basis, which turned out to be the seed for Biker's Paradise.
One of their all time personal favorites was a ride put together in 2003 after Steve was elected president of a national pharmacist association. Many members knew Steve was a biker, but he made sure everyone knew. He introduced a biker theme to the membership during his inaugural address and carried it through his year of leadership. A national convention was scheduled in Tampa, Florida a few months into Steve's administration.
Steve appointed Jack to be his partner in organizing this event. Jack was not about to miss this meeting. He rode his Softail from Denver to Tampa. To add some flair to the opening ceremonies, Steve rode Jack's Softail into the ballroom on the 4th floor of a
major hotel. The membership had a great time and dressed up as bikers, sporting stick-on tattoos and competed in a "Best Looking Biker" contest. After the meeting, many members and other riders had a blast on a Biker's Paradise Tour.
To date, rides have been organized that included the following locations: Arizona, central California, Colorado, the Canadian Rockies, Florida, the Great Lakes, New England, Utah, and Texas. To document the fun and the beauty of our tours, most rides have been preserved with a professionally produced videotape or DVD.
